Personalized, Adaptable, & Transparent

Following an initial evaluation and consultation with you, Summit Pediatric Therapy determines treatment goals and recommendations for therapy frequency. We strongly believe that parents/caregivers are partners and we value your input in goals and planning. In addition, each session includes parent coaching and a debrief to discuss activities for home/carryover, answer questions, and share progress. Our team strongly believes that communication thrives in a child's natural environment. Our team would love to work with your child at their daycare, preschool, home, library, or even in teletherapy sessions from the comfort of your home.

Complimentary Screenings and Phone Consultation

Not sure if your child needs speech therapy? Give us a call and we can discuss your concerns, developmental norms specific to your child's age, answer any questions you have, and determine whether your child would be a candidate for speech therapy.

Evaluations

Summit Pediatric Therapy offers screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine your child's strengths and areas to work on in therapy. An interview with the family, observation in a natural setting (if applicable), completion of assessments, and consultation with the child's educational team will be completed. Following all parts of the assessment, a meeting with the family will be held to discuss findings, goals for therapy, answer questions and determine a treatment plan.

Behavioral Consultation

Some children have difficulty with following expectations, changes in routine, understanding directions, completion of tasks, and being flexible both at home and school. Summit Pediatric Therapy is able to provide support specific to a child's needs, such as social stories, visuals, home routines, and academic tutoring if needed.
